MARY R. EWELL

Manassas, Virginia

          Mary R. Ewell is the great-great granddaughter of Jim Robinson, the subject of her story.  She is employed at Mountain View School in Centreville, where several years ago a class of history students heard her story and decided to research it further.  Their research completed the details of a saga that has been passed down through her family for generations.

          Mary has five children, all living in Northern Virginia, and seven grandchildren.  During Centreville Days, Mary participates as a character in the historical play Tales from the Blanket, retelling the story of her great-great grandfather to her own grandchildren.
