DEBORAH K. NAGY, M.A.

Deborah Nagy teaches math and is the school test coordinator at Mountain View School, one of Fairfax County’s three alternative high schools located in Centreville, Virginia.
Ms. Nagy holds a Master’s degree in English and has taught both English and mathematics in her 35-year career. She has also worked as a legislative aide and speechwriter on Capitol Hill and was assistant editor for a geometry textbook published by Laidlaw in 1987. In addition to teaching, she edits the monthly newsletter of the Democratic Women of Clifton.
Ms. Nagy portrays a 19th century “schoolmarm” in the Centreville Days play, Tales from the Blanket.
